Yosemite Part 4 - Goodbye

After our last day in the Mariposa grove, we came back to camp and had a good fire and cooked our COPS again. COPS are also known as tinfoil dinners or hobo dinners. We call them COPS because we make them with carrots, onions, and potatoes. We made them for dinner while camping at Arches and also two times here in Yosemite. They got better each time we made them. Especially this last time because we made sure we had a good coal bed, put some freshly picked bay leaves...and beer...in the pockets for seasoning, and let them cook about ten minutes longer. Delicious.

This is the fire...

The next morning (Thursday) we got up, took down camp, and were out of the park by 7:30 am.

But we didn't speed on the way out...because that would have been bad.

On the way to Klamath Falls, OR we stopped for lunch at In'N'Out burger in Sacramento. Delicious!
