As we were walking into the yard, Theo spotted his friend from csb/sju! She was a prp and graduated one year ahead of us. We didn't plan on meeting her and her friends there, but we ended up spending the rest of the afternoon with them in Golden. It was a lot of fun.

They had great beer.
Their friends have a roofing company called the Colorado A team. Their truck was so cool I had to jump in the back and take a picture.
After the second brewery we spent some time touring the rest of Golden...including some of the great outdoor statues that they have.
This is theo with Adolf Coors, the founder of Coors. He can't move his arms because they are made of bronze. But he had an itch so theo helped him out.
They said it was tradition to ride this buffalo, too, so we all gave it a try. He is pretty sturdy.
It was so great running into old friends! I the middle of our hanging out with the group I turned to theo and said " this is what the road trip is all about. Loose plans and hanging out with cool people when you come across them!"
