Arches Camping

The campground inside of Arches National Park was full by the time we got there on Friday but there were plenty of self registration campsites along the river that were open. There was no water, the bathrooms were pit toilets, and there was just a small fire pit and table. But we also only paid $12 for the night and it was right on the Colorado river!

The moon in the morning.

At about 8 am the sun rose over the canyon walls and the temperature rose about 15 degrees. So we got in the car and left.

We were going to use this rope swing and play in the water, but the lady at the park ranger at Arches NP said that a lot of flooding of the river this spring caused a lot of the farm fields to drain into the river. So it is full of cow poop. So we didn't swim here.

On to Zion!
