After parking on the street in Oakland and riding the BART under the bay to SF we went down to check out the pier area. Very cool place of town.

After coffee and some shopping, we walked along the coast under the Bay Bridge to the ballpark. I figured we could get some cheap tickets on the street by the park since it was already the 4th inning, right?
I told a guy I wanted cheap tickets...at most $20 a piece. Since it was such busy day and such a beautiful day for a game he said the cheapest tickets would be that day were $30 a piece in the 9th inning. I smiled and walked away. Instead, we walked behind the park by the marina and sat on a bench and listened to the sounds of the game while seeing the game cast on my iPhone. That was free!

There were a lot of people out in the bay in their yachts and kayaks listening on their radios! It was a close game, but the Brewers lost 2-1. It was pretty cool hearing the crowd cheer for Wilson as he came in for the save though. And everyone went nuts on their boat horns when the game was over. Very cool.

After the game we rode the bus up to the Golden Gate bridge to walk it!

A very busy place, but awesome to see.

Quite the view of the city. You can see Alcatraz island on the left, too.
Very busy with people walking and bikes and cars of course...but this too was free so it was a great thing to see.
The next morning after Caitlin was off to work at 7 i went to pick Theo up and have some breakfast with Aaron and Siri...and then it was time to hit the road again.

Thanks for a great trip to the city! Thanks for hosting us, Caitlin, Aaron, and Siri!
On to Yosemite...
